Once your application has been accepted you will sign a lease and must make the following payments:
• Bond Payment – you may either pay by bank cheque or money order. Bank cheques and money orders must be made payable to the RTBA and will then be sent to the RTBA (Residential Tenancies Bond Authority), where it will be held for the duration of your tenancy
• First Months Rent & or Adjustment Rent – Our tenants have a common due date of the 20th of each month. Should your tenancy start in the middle of this cycle you will be required to pay rent from the date you start to the 20th of the month. These payments can be made by either cash or bank cheque.
Upon commencement of your tenancy you will be provided with a PayWay rent card which is how you will make all future rental payments. This PayWay card is specifically assigned to you with a unique reference number and offers the convenience of many payment options, including: BPAY, Direct Debit, taking the card to any Australia Post outlet and paying by cash or credit card. Alternatively you may come into the office and pay your rent by cash or cheque.
Should you find yourself in a situation where you may be slightly late with your rental payment, please contact your property manager and let them know. Our arrears process is efficient and thorough, you will receive two warnings and if the late payment is not rectified you will receive a Notice to Vacate.
